About Race Porter

HOMS Seattle founder, Race Porter, has struggled with mental health for as long as he can remember. “I always figured no one cared, or even worse, people wouldn't like me if they knew how much I struggled. But hiding these issues, only made it worse. So, after nearly 8 years of dealing with depression and battling my own thoughts, I decided once and for all, to address my issues. Allison Claire and Mental Health

At Allison Claire, we believe people connect over shared experiences. Unfortunately, struggling with mental health is an increasingly common shared experience that we don’t know how to share. But, the beauty in this is that we’re not alone. Having faced her own battles with mental health, our founder Allison Claire cares deeply about raising awareness and removing barriers that exist around talking about mental health. We partnered with HOMS Seattle to create the Hearts Forever Collection; a selection of fine jewelry pieces designed to honor the daily journey of many who struggle with mental health. A portion of all profits from this collection is donated to Hilinski’s Hope; an organization that provides student-athletes at universities and colleges across the country critical training and conversations that will lead to better mental health awareness and care. When you wear a Hearts Forever piece, you’re joining a community that exists to remind you that you’re not in this alone. We’re all in this together; wearing our hearts on our sleeves and close to our hearts.

At Allison Claire, each piece is custom made just for you. We do this to ensure you receive the highest quality pieces that fit just right! This method provides the added benefit of being environmentally responsible; making sure we only produce what we need.
